After seven years of making craft ciders, two Swan Valley venues and many fruitful drinks, Funk Cider is embracing their variety of preservative free offerings in their new name Funk Drinks Co.
The family business, co-founded by two country boys, is ready to take a step towards exciting new places, focusing on their experience with cold pressed juice and using real fruit in their drinks.
A glimpse into what is to come is their new fruited beer range with the Passionfruit Fresh Ale scoring 7th best beer at the 2024 WA Good Food Guide - white pale malt, wheat, Mosaic hops & 75 kilograms of passionfruit!
The two Toodyay brothers’ juice company, Michael Brothers, will now officially be joining the Funk portfolio with their cold-pressed juices and healthy sodas.
The Funk Venues are also part of the brand update with Funk 2.0, in Henley Brook, becoming Funk Brewshed and Funk Cider House becoming House of Funk
Martin Michael, co-founder, said:
“We needed to bring together all that we have done in the past two years, our passion for fruit and to better communicate what each of our venues has to offer - It’s been months of work to get here and we are very excited to share some of our biggest news with you.”
Funk Drinks Co will continue their relentless pursuit of flavour and breaking down the norms of how beverages are made with their unpasteurised ciders and craft fruited beers.
