For Funk, Farmers Ale is more than just a beer. It’s a tribute to the farmers who nurture the land, the communities that call WA home, and the timeless dance between humanity and nature.Â
Crafting Farmers Ale has been a labor of love years in the making. Funk has always been known for its fruits, juice and cider, but beer has long held a special place in our hearts because we grew up on a farm.Â
This ale is a toast to WA’s incredible farmers, their resilience and their commitment to sustainable practices. It’s a celebration of terroir—the soil, water, and air that make every batch unique. And it’s a bridge between worlds, uniting the bush and the city, the land and its people, over a cold, refreshing pint.
Raise your glass to Farmers Ale: a beer with roots, heart, and soul. Here’s to the land, the farmers, and the future. Cheers!

Expressing not only our love the land, but the goodness that the land provides - the Terroir.
"Terroir" is a French term referring to the unique combination of natural and human factors that give an agricultural product its distinctive characteristics. This includes the climate, soil, topography, and local farming practices.
From our founder and farm manager Dustin:
"This beer represents for me the connection between the bush and the city, nature and humans, a lovely reminder of our unity with nature”
